Hello,
I think both exercises were good and really helped me alot. I found that the loving kindness more benficial because I seemed to be able to relax better the second time I tried it. I think my biggest down fall is that my life is so hetic, I can't focus and relax. I realized in order for me to be able to enjoy the experience I needed to remove myself from all the noise in my house. I do believe what Dacher said about loving ourselves to be able to open up and share that love with others. I think that spiritual wellness leads to mental and physical wellness because when a person has spiritual wellness it allows them to let go of things. Keeping feelings and thougths inside causes stress to the mind and body. I use alot of guided imaginery, prayer and meditation to help reflect on parts of my life that are having a negative affect on my mind and body. Life is a learning process and people need to train their minds to let go of negative thoughts and focus on the positive.
Until next time..........
Kimberly I experience the same thing it is very hard to focus on the exercise or just get myself to relax.
ReplyDeleteWhen i am overwhelmed with work I cant relax until I pretty much clear my plate. I do try to focus on one thing at a time for example for 2 weeks I was going hard at work. Now I know this last week I needed to tapper back and let the focus be on my family. Sometimes its just balance knowing what to put your focus on
